Description

Mountie makes managing external storage like USB flash drives simple on your rooted Android device supporting USB OTG. Newly detected devices are automatically handled when connected, mounted in the 'mountie' folder on your storage partition.

Note that your device MUST be rooted and support USB OTG in order for this app to work. I've tested this app on a Nexus 5, please let me know whether or not it works on your device!

The supported filesystems are dependent on your device's kernel. Mountie only supports the filesystems your device supports.

Mountie is licensed under the GNU GPL v3 (https://github.com/Morlunk/Mountie). It makes use of Stericson's RootTools library, which is licensed under Apache2 (https://github.com/Stericson/RootTools). All proceeds from the Play Store version of Mountie go to funding future development.

★★★★★ Mount up

★★★★★ Great for nexus devices I was using stickmount but this is much simpler, and it's free software.

★★☆☆☆ It didn't work for me, but my tablet does not have root access. On the plus side it does not display adverts.

★★☆☆☆ Garbage. It needs root access but won't tell me how to give it and sorry (not) but Im not a whiz with my android to figure it out or figure out the kind of app I need to do so.
