Comments on National Express Coach for Android

I thought when downloading I'd be able to log into my account and view tickets I had previously bought, which would be easier than searching through emails at the gate. Alas, not. I'm not sure what the point of the app is if I can't view tickets bought online, so I will be uninstalling. UPDATE: there is a way to add a ticket via the ticket number and email address used at booking. It didn't seem the most intuitive.

Only use it to get the bus between LHR and Swindon, but it works well.

Last month my son had a delayed flight in which he missed his coach. The last coach was at 11 and the next one was a 7am. My poor 15-year-old son waited 8 hours to be told by some idiot driver that his ticket was not valid and was stranded at the airport for 12 hours. Today he tried to get back from London and once again some jobsworth scum driver told him to jog on because it didn't let him change his ticket through a fault in the app. No point boarding this service as drivers are disgusting.

Amazing UI and ridiculous feature when you can't buy tickets 10 mins before the selected bus. Special thanks for great support!

★☆☆☆☆ Mac Was · Aug 17, 2026

All bookings made through this app have a £1.5 charge added to them. The only way to avoid this mandatory fee is to use the website, which is more often than not broken. Last week I was met with an unbrookable ticket on the website after spending two hours trying to book a coach ride. Every payment method said "something went wrong, please restart booking". Including the final one, which charged me £20 via Amazon Pay, THEN didn't send an email confirmation, said the same error message. Pathetic.
