Comments on NETWORK PLAYER CONTROLLER for Android

★★★★★ I use this app every day. I have an R-N500 receiver, which is getting long in the tooth, but it does everything I need. I hope that Spotify continues to work on it. Internet Radio no longer works. It would be nice if the app were updated, but it's extremely unlikely. It would also be nice to have a more sophisticated way of playing files from my Android device (it just lists every individual file which is less than useful). But it does all the basic things well enough and reliably.

★★★★★ Not bad but it would be better if you could search for radio stations

★★☆☆☆ Yamaha doesn't care at all of their customers. I have never got a reply from the development or online help. The app cannot even connect two Yamaha audio devices CD Player and Network receivers, although both are in the same Wi-Fi.

★★☆☆☆ Worst app, does not get connect with my Yamaha amp rcv585.

★★☆☆☆ Only does the basics, loved the web radio years back but then was informed needed to pay for a subscription, wasn't expensive it's just rude
