This app works as promised, and it charges my credit card for tolling fares. BUT, something's wrong with it: I live in North Carolina (which is accepted by the app).... Why am I additionally still being charged by ALSO my state's local tolling agency (EZ PASS)??? I ALREADY THE TOLLING FEES! The car I'm driving is registered to my friend who is letting me use it. I took his EZ PASS/Quick Pass monitor down so that I could use NEXTPASS without my friend getting charged. He's still getting billed 🙄🤬

Don't bother with this app. Just get EZ pass. This will cost you money and time in the long run. The "customer service" is rude and actually useless. (I think it was the most frustrating part) They didn't charge me (they claim they didn't get the trips, blaming the Illinois tollway). Yet, I get a bill from Illinois.... For both my tolls and nearly 3x the amount in additional fees. I don't leave reviews. But I hope to let some unsuspecting traveler know what a waste this app is...

Illinois was on the Next Pass list of states that are covered, but my entire time there was billed to the car rental company, which in turn, billed me and charged me an additional $30 'convenience fee.' The bottom line is that Next Pass is high-risk, in my experience.
