Fabulous app. Easy to use and navigate. Audio sharpness and clarity is excellent when using TV streamer. App allows for quick access to make required sound processor changes that may be necessary for the hearing environment. I have experienced glitches with processor 'disconnected' and a few other issues. However, I blame Bluetooth interference. 🤔🤷♀️

Works fine with my Cochlear Nucleus CI paired with my Resound acoustic hearing aid in my other ear. Initial pairing required some fiddling and help from my Audiologist. Will lose pairing to one or the other for no apparent reason. The Music setting allows for pumping up the treble, which is not needed for most of us, and the bass, which most of us do need. As a guitarist, I know the hearing of my guitar will get better with time. No fault to the App; that's the nature of CI. Battery % is poor.

Nucleus Smart App no longer connects to mt Kanso 2 and hearing aid, and will no longer pair with my Google Pixel 10 Pro. It used to work great but for several months it has only gotten worse. What's up with that?

This nucleus app is absolutely one problem after another, always disconnecting and says can't detect my processor. And further more was updated a couple of weeks ago, and it's even worse, but unfortunately I have to put up with it when I have a nucleus cochlear. I'd like to add my nucleus cochlear itself is great, edit a few weeks after my review yet another app update and now my hearing aid doesn't connect to the app anymore, cochlear no problems!

How did I wait years to find this? For Google Pixel phone: there's a hidden menu in the app settings to fix Bluetooth dropouts. Go to Settings/see all apps/nucleus smart app/app battery usage. Set to optimize. Then touch the words "allow background usage". On the new hidden screen, change or set to "unrestricted". Why hide a critical menu??? Why no mention of this at Cochlear? It's just stupid.

The app keeps resetting my processor settings. I wanted no processor beeping sounds, no light flashing, and to lock my settings. But every time I turn off and on my cochlear implant, the app reset the settings anyway. It's frustrating. After many years of using this app, there has not been a single update to fix the issues I have already mentioned. I reached out to the team and no responses. Disappointed. One year later and I'm still disappointed! No fix or changes!
