HOW IT WORKS
1. Sign in with Google Drive access. 2. Choose what to include in the backup. 3. Enter an encryption passphrase. 4. Nuskha creates an encrypted backup folder in your Drive. 5. To restore, sign in again, choose a backup, enter the passphrase, and restore the categories you need.
PRIVACY AND DATA HANDLING
Nuskha stores backup files in your Google Drive account. Backup contents are encrypted before upload. The app uses Google Drive only for backup and restore, and requests the limited drive.file scope so it can work with files it creates.
The app asks for sensitive permissions only for matching backup or restore actions:
- SMS permission is used to back up SMS messages. - Call log permission is used to back up and restore call history. - Contacts permission is used to back up and restore contacts. - Installed-app visibility is used to create a reinstall reference list with package names and Play Store links.
Nuskha does not back up APK files. It stores app reinstall references only.
