★★★★★ The app is fine for what it does. Frankly, Chrome and Samsung Pass do the same, and easier to use. As for BIOMETRICS. Apparently, people are afraid of it and don't know how to use it. Furthermore, they don't understand how it's used. Biometrics does not get sent to any app or website that you log into. It's on your phone. Also, when you're first signing into the app, there is a SKIP BUTTON in the right corner on the page where it asks you to add biometrics. FFS people. Biometrics aren't scary...

★★★★★ Employer generally uses Okta products, so I was of an open mind to give Okta Personal a try. Personally, the framework is there for Okta Personal to be what it can be envisioned, and the effort from the Okta company itself in its products is pretty top. But as a new released app, it is functionally yet primitive. What I would love to see integrated is password generation. CSV import exists strictly on desktop account website, would love to see this be on mobile and or in app.

★★☆☆☆ Requires biometrics to access. As such, depending on jurisdiction, you can be compelled to unlock the app. For instance, in the USA, you cannot be forced to reveal a password or PIN, but can be forced to provide biometrics access. If you live in, or travel to, those jurisdictions, this is a concern.

★★☆☆☆ Requires Android 12 or higher & biometrics which I refuse to use, If a company is hacked, (like OKTA was in 2023) I can simply reset a password. But I can't reset a fingerprint. Interesting enough, the commercial version of (OKTA Verify) does not require biometrics. Why no require a pattern & 2FA, and not biometrics. It gets more complicated if your company runs OKTA Verify, and you're trying to run OKTA Persona. I just wanted an alternative to Google.
