Description
OmaPosti is Posti's app for parcels and digital post.
TRACK PARCELS - OmaPosti shows you the status of your parcels: what's coming and where and when. When notifications are activated, OmaPosti notifies you when a parcel can be picked up. Depending on the situation, it shows you what delivery options are available for the parcel. If you've ordered home delivery, you can choose the most suitable delivery time in OmaPosti.
AFFORDABLE SENDING - When sending a parcel, it's a good idea to pay for the parcel in OmaPosti. This is the most affordable sending option. A prepaid shipment can be taken to any Posti Service Point or Parcel Locker.
RECEIVE DIGITAL POST - If you wish, you can get electronic letters and invoices in to your OmaPosti digital postbox.* The letters could be, for example, messages from the authorities, invoices and payslips. You can also choose to receive notification in OmaPosti or by email when you get new digital post.
PAY INVOICES - You can pay your invoices directly in OmaPosti – it's quick, easy and safe! The application sends out due date reminders and archives the invoices on your behalf.
GET HELP QUICKLY IN CHAT - The chat starts with a couple of questions to give you an automatic answer right away. If you need further help, we’ll connect you with a customer advisor (during service hours).
FREE TO USE - The OmaPosti service is intended for all Finnish persons over 15 years of age. The OmaPosti service can be used free of charge.
BROWSER VERSION - If you don't want to or can't install the app on your phone, you can use the browser version of OmaPosti. You can find it at posti.fi/en/omaposti. Some Posti services are only available through the browser version, such as change of address and forwarding mail to another address. If you want to download all the letters and invoices you've received in OmaPosti, you can do so in the browser version.

Simple and easy to use also everything is clear. I saw some people have complained about the pickup point, you should know you can change your pickup point to your nearest location and that is so unfair to give 1 ⭐ to such a helpful app.

Big concern: this is SPYWARE! They are collecting and tracking your data without your consent and knowledge! They have just confirmed this to me. Also, last update broke everything! Digital letters are not shown, they cannot be downloaded and when you contact support of course is your fault because you don't have the dev environment they have. "It works in my device" story. SHAME ON YOU POSTI. It used to work well (that's why 2 stars).

Session expires constantly. Almost every time I try to open the app it won't log in, but requires me to use strong authentication. I suppose it does its job once I get in, but constant logging in is infuriating. I mean you could try to remember my login for at least a month and allow me to use biometrics, but no. Also, the constant password typing makes me want to use the weakest possible password. Even banks don't require a stron authentication several times a day and you no bank.

Can you stop changing the way parcels are sent! Each time all addresses get deleted. Also there is no easy way to have a preferred post office that would be respected.

Good app, bad service. When I'm receiving a home delivery, they never notify about it in advance. There is no way to mention door code or similar useful info for the courier. They just come to your building and call once. If you don't respond at that exact moment (usually 7 am when I'm asleep) - tough luck - they will reroute your package to a pickup point in 3-5 km from your location. At least, this happened to me three times now with heavy packages. I will be asking sellers to use Postcard.

Omg. You guys do changes 24/7 and never notify. I got a package and says pick up in 3 working days!!!! Weekend in between. Where does new rules come all the time????! App also signs out very fast on personal phone for no reason
