An inconvenient feature is that if you rename one of your contacts, the new contact name is saved as a duplicate contact with a new name, rather than overwriting the existing contact. Also choosing whether to save a contact to your SIM or phone can duplicate contacts. Fixing these would make the app 5 stars. I really like the app inspire of those inconvenient features.

Has worked almost flawlessly since installation and importing of contacts from .vcf file. Lightweight, intuitive, fast, no ads or bloat, no internet, no trackers according to Exodus. Using with Ossify Phone & Messenger. Has a feature where you can store contacts privately but are able to use them with other Ossify apps. Superb, thank you. Android 16

Like it, it's just. I use Google phone because it came on phone, along with it. Because it has voicemail. For some reason when I hit view contacts from Google phone. It opens ossify contacts. However, it's glitched it only shows a single contact.

Really poor app. It's pretending to be something it isn't. Categories are all empty on one of 2 my main accounts - I tried to set this up in a number of different ways but always got stuck at only one account fully syncing with categories. Accounts in the filter section are duplicated. I'd also expect to be able to omit certain accounts from being read. Filter options need to be on the screen not hidden in a menu. 2 emails for help went ignored. Will find another app that's better

When I have a message I want to forward to a GROUP and use Ossify Contacts to find the group from WITHIN the message app . Eg I select a message for forwarding and then try to forward it to a group using ossify contacts to locate the group . Ossify contacts shows all contacts EXCEPT groups

It was good but for few weeks it stopped working properly, and it says it saved contact numbers, but it actually didn't, so I lost so many important numbers 😓😓
