Like the Ossify picture gallery, this music player app works best when used with the Ossify file manager. Missing folders can be manually added, but I have hundreds of folders within folders so using the file manager works best to find all of my files then using the Ossify media management apps to open, play, etc. them.

I <3 ossify, I'd love to switch from musicale to this music player, but to be honest the app is a little basic. What's really stopping me from switching is the widget - there's only one widget, and it doesn't even show the album cover on it. I'd also like to see more musicolet-inspired widget customization, such as the option to use album cover colors for the theme and to add/remove buttons from it.

Awesome suite of tools, love their music player app, it functions far better with more features than any other freemium app I've tried so far. BEST OF ALL ZERO ADS. My only gripe is when adding songs to a playlist, I wish it was check box next to the individual song files rather than 1 at a time adding them. The workaround is to just group the files in directories, then use the directory add to playlist. But, that's not convenient when you already have established directory categories setup.

Pros : Minimalistic, Original and Simple UI, Easy to use, *** NO ADS *** and can work offline. Cons : Can't edit song properties (artist name, genre, album art, etc.), can't crop audio files, playlists have trouble working, no streaming online feature. Conclusion? There are better alternatives on android.

I turned off notifications, and it would not allow playing songs and had to force stop when notifications were on really disappointing.

It's an okay music player but lacks the ability to delete files while in play mode, so I uninstalled it and chose AIMP instead. I often bike around listening to my music on a Bluetooth speaker, when a song dislike comes up I just delete it. This app only allows deletion from the folder list which is not what I need.

2 stars because a major issue. When starting a song there is an EXTREMELY loud sound then each song starts. Maybe an equalizer issue? Also, if you play a song then back to All Tracks and tap the same song, it'll restart, just keep the song going plz. Maybe move the "tabs" (artists, album, etc.) to the top of the screen & keep them there in All Tracks, this way you don't have to back out of 2 screens from Now Playing.
