22 Aug - Updating my review to reflect that fact that Outer spacial worked with me via email to fix the app issues, and I am now able to log my challenge hikes! Huge thanks to the Outer spacial team for being so responsive. There are still some things around offline maps that I'd love to see improvements on, but overall, very solid app.

Now that I figured out how to pull up the maps it's very helpful when hiking and walking doing the Five Rivers Metro Parks Trails Challenge. It was a problem to pull the maps up until someone showed me the proper way to access them. We finished all the walking/hiking trails and had a wonderful time doing all the trails using the maps to keep us on track.

All the satellite imagery and the trails are set up a date because they encourage the user base to constantly update and upgrade in keep everything on the maps up-to-date current and accurate all the way down to the exact weather conditions or trail conditions and the busyness of the location or the house included some parks are how long some trails are, and it's all very accurate, so it's essentially all the other apps that have been trying to do what they're doing in one

Doesn't show all trails. Seems to show the trails in the metro parks but not the trails visible on the map that are less than a mile from my house, within the Columbus city limits.

Not good. Took 5 minutes to get it to switch from being California despite my community being highlighted. I just want to find the local bike trails (Ohio DNR pointed here) but things don't show up in the search, or they point to other states. Terrible UI.

So, one year ago, I left a review about the app not recognizing the distance from a trail. It still doesn't allow me to check into a trail. I can see my GPS spot on the map, but when checking into a hiking challenge, it says I'm miles away. I'm forced to use I think I'm at the trail in order to check in.
