Description
This application allows you, as a myWaitrose customer, to scan your shopping as you go using your smartphone. Simply scan and pack your items straight into your bags. You’ll see a running total of your spend on your phone, plus you’ll hear a beep to alert you to special offers. When you’ve finished just pay and go, with no need to unpack your bags at the checkout.
You will need a myWaitrose account number to activate this application. If you’re not already a member, simply sign-up at waitrose.com/mywaitrose to receive your account number immediately.
When using this application, you will have a better experience if you connect to the free WiFi available in the majority of our stores.
Occasional rescans QuickCheck was created to make your shopping quicker and easier. As part of the process, we’ll occasionally rescan your shopping, to make sure that you’re being charged correctly. Our Partners will assist you with this process.

I have been using this for a couple of years, generally it's good. On occasion it's a bit flaky in terms of connecting with the store or not being able to commence a shop, but I like the convenience. Things that could be better - move the scan item button, so it's easier to use your thumb (holding item and phone is a bit tricky), move the delete item to the other side of the screen, so it's less easy to catch with your thumb, be able to enter multiple items with a number pad or +/- buttons

My husband bought me a beautiful bowl of orchids for Christmas, I watered it and sat it on my dining room table. Unfortunately the buds fell off, and the bowl was damp underneath ruined the polished table, all the flowers have now fallen off. I have used this on four trips now. Every time it has been fine and worked very well. If you are familiar with the shop provided self scan guns you will be completely at home with this app because it works the same way. I used on mobile data not Wi-Fi. Scans codes are identified quickly and reliably with good confirmation tones and haptic feedback. It will save you time. Scan the entrance QR code, scan your items, scan the end code at the self scan terminal, a few taps later you're done.

Well I have to say this works particularly well. Scans all the items super quick and have had no problems. Think works better on newer/higher spec phones. Wish Tesco would use an app like this.

Just doesn't work anymore. Scanning the QR code to start my shop just gives an error message. Deleting and reinstalling doesn't work. Staff in-store not able to help.

2 gripes. First - needing to scan card to log in. Yes I know the workaround, but that's ridiculous. 2nd. How is there no GPS, so it knows the store I'm in? I didn't scan on way in while I was fumbling around trying to log in and not bothered to go find some QR code near entrance. Wait rose you've ticked a box releasing this app but haven't bothered thinking about customer experience and have your competitors miles ahead.

Can't sign in because my Wait rose card is also on my phone! Your suggested workaround is no use when I'm standing in the store. Needs to be prioritized.
