The New Mexico Rail Runner Express provides train service seven days a week to key destinations throughout Central New Mexico including Santa Fe, Santo Domingo Pueblo, Bernalillo, Albuquerque, Isleta Pueblo, Los Lunas, and Belen. The Rail Runner App allows quick access to purchase tickets when you're on the go. • See your tickets in your electronic wallet • Review your purchase history • View Weekday, Saturday and Sunday schedules • Sign up for rider alerts • Create a trip plan • Never misplace your ticket again • Take the ticket with you when you upgrade your phone. • Purchases tickets with a debit or credit card (except American Express). • Tickets are available for immediate activation and use.

The app fails whether you try to buy tickets using a credit card or an account balance - on all networks and with any card... Telling that my card works to add money to the account but not to use it. Does not connect with their online Square store either, so you cannot buy tickets there and use them from the app. Would not recommend. Just use their website instead.

App works just fine to buy tickets. But no matter what you do the conductors will scold you for using it wrong. First time, activated the ticket before boarding (as per the instructions), they didn't check it for a while until after it expired and told me I should have waited. Second time, activated it as they were coming around (as was told by the first conductor) and was told I had to do it before boarding. The passenger is always wrong it seems.
