Rally - Stop Doomscrolling

Tired of doom-scrolling? Meet your good news app.

Endless wars. A warming planet. The end of democracy. Turn on the news and you're hit with an endless stream of bad news. But the modern news cycle doesn't give you the full picture. Our world faces real problems, sure, but it's also full of unprecedented opportunities. Crazy thing is, these opportunities are getting covered in the press. They're just not getting clicks.

That's why we built Rally News: the first positive news aggregator that surfaces only good news stories, straight from the publishers you already trust. Every day, outlets around the world publish uplifting stories, from human interest pieces and medical breakthroughs, to scientific discoveries and climate wins. These stories just don't get the clicks that the bad news does. So we built a proprietary engine that scans publishers and brings their good stuff together in one place.

But we don't think being positive should feel like homework. That's why Rally News is built to be genuinely fun, with features designed to give you a more balanced, hopeful view of the world. Here's an overview of what we bring to the table.

Discover Feed: Swap doom-scrolling for good news. Swipe through a feed of uplifting stories that learns what you like and gets better at showing news that actually makes you smile. It's just like your favorite vertical video feed, except we build you up instead of wearing you down.

News Feed: Prefer full control? Our classic News Feed lets you pick the categories and providers you want to see, and skip the ones you don't. This feed works just like a traditional news site, so there's no learning curve required.

Rallying Cries: Wake up to good news, not the daily grind. Rallying Cries are short, feel-good news summaries we send throughout the day, right to your phone.

Local or Global: Good news should be tailored to you. By default, Rally News shows publishers from your region only, but you can turn off Local News Only to see positivity from around the world.

Free Accounts: Sign up free with Google or Mastodon to sync your settings across devices and online at rally.news. Free forever, no catches.

Ethics built in: We support the newsrooms behind every story we surface. Rally News doesn't scrape content. Instead, we send you straight to the original publisher to read the full story, so the journalists who wrote it get the credit (and the traffic) they deserve — all without ever leaving the Rally News app.

Who's behind Rally News?

We're not programmers or finance people. Our founder is an AI video producer and screenwriter who got fed up with a news industry that only rewards panic and outrage. So he built Rally, and made it free for everyone. We may eventually add ads or a premium tier down the line, but the features you enjoy today will always stay free.

Rally News is proudly built and hosted in the European Union.
