RentCafe Resident App features (options vary based on each community): - Submit one-time payments in three easy steps with various payment methods. - Set up monthly automatic payments to help you avoid late fees. - Share rent, utility, and other costs with roommates using monthly automatic payments - Submit maintenance requests with photos and voice memos and track progress along the way. - Reserve community amenities such as the clubhouse, meeting rooms, and pool area with just a few taps. - Track when your packages are delivered or picked up, all within your app. - Sign and complete your lease renewal directly in the app. - Interact within your community through the Bulletin Board.

The residents app makes getting things done in a timely manner easy. It has worked really well during non office hours. All my complaints have been addressed whether I was home or not. IMO, a work order receipt would be helpful on the days that I'm not home during the repair.

The sign-in experience is insecure and confusing. If you check "Remember me", you cannot modify your choice without reinstalling, and it'll never forget your email address. If you enable biometrics, the app allows you to sign in even if you fail the check! If you update fingerprint/face profiles in Android settings, you can skip the biometrics prompt altogether! Otherwise, the app isn't so bad, it is slow and there are a few links that lead to blank empty screens... but it works.

Besides the usual login OTP issues. The app lags with delayed input & move in inspection image upload can't be undone. Upload limit is 5 per inspection item. Can't be changed once uploaded. Hope they're good enough. The inspection can't be accessed by the desktop website. Only mobile. For the landlords & property managers this works in their favor as they can grift any tenant who loses patience & gives up on the inspection. All for things that aren't tenant fault.

Can't do maintenance requests on app as they say. You can't even do maintenance requests from the website. Guess I'll have the roof of the house leaking!!!
