I use this app with my phone mounted on my bicycle, and it allows me various controls including taking screenshots etc. It would be nice if I can adjust my power output settings and difficulty settings in the middle of a workout.

4☆ b/c could use some tweaks, my review is focusing on its use during the "ride". Switched from SWIFT to ROUVY after 4 years, overall glad I did. This companion app is not as polished. It is pretty sparse, that kept it easy to read. The metrics it provides are not what I focus on when using a trainer & you can't change them or anything else on the interface/ display. You can switch b/n the preset screens. The "buttons" for swapping screens were small. It's not as functional a remote either.

***Update*** I tried unpairing my trainer then reconnecting and since doing this I have had no dropouts. Been using for a year now and a great app better than the main rivals. However Since this week's update I am now experiencing constant dropouts from the trainer and get N/A on speed cadence etc. for about 2 seconds, and then it picks up again!! Never had this before the update. Looks.like it loses Bluetooth connection for a few seconds. Happens multiple times!! Any advice?

Unable to log in to the companion app. Apparently the password for the main app and companion are separate. Reset procedure fails.

Still useless. Still continually says 'connect the main app' which I already have. Made this same comment a year ago. Still no improvement and nothing from the developer. Again, as I asked a year ago, why not just have ALL the rides accessible through the main app????? Why have a companion app, if it clearly doesn't work??? There are almost as many 1 and 2-star reviews as 4 or 5. 40% (maybe?) of people are dissatisfied. I think it's time the issues were fixed.

I feel like this app was developed by someone who doesn't use it and instead sits at a computer all day. Why in the app store is it called "Rouvy Companion App" but when it's installed it's called, "Companion"? Why are there three data screens, two of which are half empty when they could easily be combined into one screen? Why is the Kudos button so small? Why is the companion app even a stand-alone app at all when it could easy just be part of the main Rouvy app?
