Updated review. So what's with this new app? It relates to a secure login on to the SBI website, replacing the OTP app. We now have a choice of QR code or OTP. To start I used the QR code but that failed every time. I rated the app 1 star. So I switched to the OTP mode. I have to TAP ON REFRESH to get the OTP; it doesn't pop up!! Then I enter the OTP on the website, and I can now proceed to log in to SBI. I now give the app 4 stars.

For prompt based authentication, the app is not showing the Transaction to approve within 2 minutes. Please fix the issue. OTP based is working fine.

As always the app is crude one with a lot of development issues. When the app is in foreground it does not allow accepting sms. Also reads wrong otp, so cannot register an account

The max password length on SBI Authenticator App doesn't match the max allowed on sbi personal Internet banking. This is very frustrating, why noone test the apps before they roll out. This is not the first time, every time, last time this app wasn't rolled out to wider world but asked to switch over from SBI Secure OTP. Please fix it, you are such a big bank, and I am sure you can invest in quality engineers and testers before rolling out any new app or features.

Not working properly. Unable to approve the transaction unable to login through internet banking. Secure OTP was much better
