Needs midi from to the seq track. The limit of 7 keys is the only limiting factor of this device. Not easy to connect to a midi controller either.

As of January 2026, the incredible team at Yamaha is STILL keeping the Seqtrak software AND firmware updated. You can make any of the drum tracks a synth or multi-drum track now!! Also, the Bluetooth connection works fine on Pixel 8! You just have to connect it via USB-C first to update the firmware. Thank you, Yamaha!!!!!

My Dearest Yamaha. Please make dark theme, I adore my seqtrak, but I got huge sight problem (keratoconus) and can't really use the app with how light it is. Please, Yamaha tell me ull make dark theme. Ur's machinery is the best! Ill change to 5 stars when you make it dark. Ty.

App seems functional but requires location access to connect to the seqtrak device. This app should not need location permission to function

Works sometimes on some devices. Does not work on Pixel 7 or 8 and occasionally works on Chromebook, and then is incredibly laggy. They should have put a screen on the Seqtrak or not made the app in unity. Disappointed.

For me probably unusable application so far, every time I turn the wheel of the instrument in the "gui editor" (kick,synth1,dx ...), the application switches to a specific instrument and for a while it seems to work, but as soon as I switch or just click somewhere else the text of the selected sound disappears, and you can hardly click anywhere, the only thing that works well is the "sampler" others can not be used.
