Practice with the application five minutes a day with a cup of coffee in the morning and the result will not take long. And a nice interface in retro style will make you feel like a great composer of the early 20th century.
Training modes: 1) Sight read for piano; 2) Sight read for guitar; 3) Read chords; 4) Write notes by name; 5) Key signature tutor.
Reference material includes: Musical alphabet, steps and alterations, notes on fretboard, intervals, scales, key signatures, major scales, minor scales, theoretical scales, circle of fifths, triads, chords, durations, time signatures, sight reading step-by-step.
The application allows you to train almost all the knowledge that is needed for a musician, such as: 1) Alterations — sharp, flat, natural and even double sharp and double flat; 2) Keys — treble, bass, alto; 3) Key signatures — every possible combination, even the theoretical ones; 4) Intervals; 5) Chords and triads — 18 species, including suspended chords, seventh chords, ninth chords and so on.

I think this has AWESOME music skill training! great and simple and straight to the point. one feature I would add is the option to use the phone's microphone to practice playing the note(s) shown on the screen with a real instrument. once the microphone hears that frequency, you could go on to the next note(s) (that way you can use any instrument) I would use this for guitar, piano, and violin!!! great app! THANK YOU!!

It's OK, but it doesn't remember your settings (what if I want to try again
with the same settings), also doesn't quiz you on chords. Well it does but
only their shape (M, m, 5) and not the notes

Notation problems, don't download until it's fixed The music notes aren't music notes, but appear to be in Mandarin or some other language instead of standard notation. Even though the rest of the app is in English. This has rendered the app useless for me...hopefully this will be fixed in an update. Until then, I would skip this and save the 2 bucks.

Guitar fretboard is backwards Strangely, the guitar fretboard is represented as if it were a left-hand guitar!? Don't know how the rest of the app works yet, but that's a big miss for me since guitar is my instrument.
