Comments on Skip - Food & Grocery Delivery for Android

I love this app and use it weekly (or more). It always works just fine and surprisingly, the customer service is very fast, friendly and efficient!!!! On the odd occasion when there has been a problem with my order, customer service has rectified the problem quickly and to my satisfaction each and every time!!! I also use this app to order food for my kids who live in a different province. It's awesome to be able to quickly order a pizza-gift for someone who lives so far away!!!

App is easy to use, and the couriers have been friendly so far. If you make an order and something is sold out they reach out to you promptly to see if you'd like a refund or exchange.

★★★★★ Christy Gillespie · Sep 17, 2026

Lots of service fees but a convenience I am sometimes will to pay for. Typically, I don't use Skip, I contact the restaurant directly and pick up myself so the restaurant earns more. Not a reflection on the app or app service level.

Not currently supporting any company that supports the Edmonton Oilers. Sorry not sorry.

Bad experience. This app used to be good, but now they won't refund even if half your order is missing. I am not going to spend fifty dollars on food and not received and be out on the money because they refused to refund me.

Driver said my cat food, wasn't in stock and didn't deliver it. I got a ride and went myself two hours later, and they had stock of all the items the driver said was out. Customer service just kept me on hold and kept asking if I was still there. They literally tried to wait me out of patience. They refused to refund the tip which that driver did not deserve to receive. Ive tried to escalate this with customer service twice and get the same response. Avoid using skip the dishes at all costs. Ripoff.

Half the app is Instacart now and the fees are insane. Looking at an average of $13 in fees if you want to get groceries now.
