Description
Use the SynScan app to control Sky-Watcher telescope mounts via Wi-Fi, USB or Bluetooth LE. Mounts without built-in Wi-Fi can be supported via a SynScan Wi-Fi adapter.
This version of the SynScan app is suited for novice users using alt-azimuth mounts.
Features - Control telescope mount to slew, align, GOTO and track. - Point And Track: track celestial objects (including the Sun and planets) without aligning. - Support gamepad navigation. - Browse a catalog of stars, comets, and deep sky objects. Or, save your own objects. - Provide access to mount for use by third-party apps, including ASCOM clients, SkySafari, Luminos, Stellarium Mobile Plus, Stellarium Desktop or customer-developed apps. - Support access to the mount and the SynScan app from any platform that supports TCP/UDP connections. - Provide emulator mount for testing and practicing. - Track fast-moving earth satellites by working with the PreviSat app on Windows PC or the Lumios app on iOS devices. - SynMatrix AutoAlign: use the smartphone camera to align the telescope automatically.

Seems a good app apart from everything you set, footer padding, elevation limits, resets to default after a few days. Apart from that it works perfectly.

There is a known problem with this version of the app when used on phones running Android 11. If you go to the Sky watcher site, you can download the apk to get a version that works on Android 11. Personally, I really like this app and the way it works with my AZ GTi.

Actually using the latest beta from the Sky watcher website, since this version won't work with current Android OS. Having said that, it gives me fantastic tracking and Goto performance, much better than I was getting with the handset. I just wish the development team was better at, well, developing!!

Insta crash. This app will not work my Galaxy S10. It crashes right after the splash screen. Same issue with Pro version.

Personally, I really like this app and the way it works with my AZ GTi. UPDATE It now doesn't open on my older Android tablet. Reduce to 2 stars

Doesn't work. Lame. I'll probably return the telescope I just bought. There's no way the app is so complicated they can't fix the issues running on the latest versions of Android.

Brightest star alignment won't work. The mount won't move. So have to use North and level. Some of the stars for alignment where over 100° off what the app was pointing the scope. I can clearly see stars, that would be idea for alignment, but the app doesn't include them. Some are too low in the horizon to even use. I'm disappointed and considering going over to electron.
