The Windsor Star app is as bad if not worse than the print edition. Breaking news is almost non-existent, anything of significance isn't reported on until hours or days after the rest of the news organizations have run it. Local news is largely a joke. From what once was a major source for Windsors is now nothing short of joke, may as well be reading Upfront again...

Was a great app would have given it 4 stars up until a week ago when all it does is flash the blue screen that says the Windsor Star and then up pop's an add regarding power of media. I close the ad, and it's just a vicious circle of the blue screen to the add etc. etc. So disappointed as I used this app as my main news information. Please fix and I will rewrite my review thank you

I would give fewer stars if I could. The Windsor Star has been a 💩 newspaper for MANY years. I stopped buying the physical paper 8 years ago as the prices kept going up, and the paper kept getting smaller. The only good thing was the comics. I would skim the headlines in the app & check out the obits for free in the app. Now I can't get to obits and to read some stories I have to pay. To be honest, it's not really worth it.
