This Naked Mind

★★★★★ This Naked Mind book and app are incredibly helpful and interesting. I've wanted to learn more about the science behind alcohol and what it does to the mind and body. Annie and Scott summarized everything, and I was engaged and interested the whole time. They help you realize alcohol isn't doing you any favors but leave any decisions to drink or not up to you - no guilt here! I highly recommend the 30-day challenge for those struggling with alcohol or are just curious about what it does to you!

★★★★★ This Naked Mind changed my life! It changed my thinking about alcohol, so that I no longer saw it as a treat or a crutch. The science showed me that that was just an illusion. Once I saw through the illusion, taking back control and stopping was easy! If you don't believe there is a benefit anymore, then there is no temptation or craving. If you drink more than you want to, then This Naked Mind can definitely help you too!

★★☆☆☆ I just started the audiobook and downloaded the app to utilize the journal feature as suggested. The book seems pretty good so far, but I'm a little frustrated that I just finished the "pre-work" in the app and now "day 1" won't open up for me until tomorrow, apparently. Today is my day one! It feels a little bit like I just wasted my time by downloading the app. I'm probably going to delete it and just keep a regular journal instead.
