About the National Public Transport Information app Welcome to National PTI, a free public transport journey planning app for Great Britain. Plan from A to B throughout Great Britain across all operators and all modes with up to date data.
Data is updated at least once per week for all bus, coach, rail and ferry journeys in GB – up to daily updates for all rail services and buses across most of southern England. The app has been re-branded in May 2026 to replace the Traveline SW app, offering the same features:
* Providing comprehensive public transport journey planning since 2013 * Plan your journey from a map or by using the menu * View next departures from any bus-stop, bus station or coach stop * Real-time information is used wherever possible for rail and bus services * See your bus location from journey plan results * Active Travel planning with bike share and carbon saving information * Plan to or from your location, postcode, address, street, point of interest, stop or station * See details of known travel disruptions and travel updates to your routes * Change settings to include or exclude transport modes, alter cycle or scooter use times and speeds, walk times and speeds and mobility settings. * Results shown on schedules and maps, including how to reach stops and stations, also where to change services * Choose earlier or later trips from results, up to first and last trips * Keep a list of your favourite or regular trips, share journey details * Details of day and weekly bus tickets included * Light and dark modes available * English, German and Ukrainian languages available

Traveling England Traveling Apps in England Finally Traveling England has a presence on Google Play (and assumedly iOS) for the SW England and West Mids though work needs to be done on a Traveling All England app and/or bringing areas of England that not Central or South West England! An equal application. Strange that you all not using the same application development team and UI (Scotland and Cymru) that very similar to each other, Traveling West Mids and SW should work together to get a common Traveling England UI/App. Traveling Scotland/Cymru should have been the template for expansion to Traveling English markets (as it's not exactly a unified operation)! This app and the SW application could have been "named better and simplified" akin to Traveling Scotland and Wales - Traveling SW/Traveling WM perhaps as the current names for these 2 applications are "over wordy - Traveling SW blah blah" or in WM case "named after a mobile site". Call it OCD but also the Application Developer field has no relivence to Traveling and should have been "Traveling" - with all applications under one developer account. Metz Datenverarbeitung GmbH sounds German (should insist on own name on Google Play)

Works well, but some inaccuracies on complex journies Simpler version of the main site. Location look up straightforward. Searches prompt. Does not always identify the quickest route on journies with more than one type of transport particularly with rail connections.

Rating based on the iPhone version (have just come back to android). Was a good so when I used it & very helpful finding bus times.

Great in theory but gives false hope that a bus will actually turn up. Shows expected time of buses, shows (inaccurate) delays but doesn't show that buses have disappeared with no trace!

Wow, I lost faith almost immediately. Eg taking a bus to Airborne Minster advised you should alight at the Police Station and then walk the route that the bus actually takes anyway. Misinformation is worse than no information.

Creates bizarre routes, First Bus biased Seems not to include some Wessex bus services when planning journeys, and expects people to walk lengthy distances to make connections, when staying on the bus one stop more would mean no walking at all.
