The project was not being updated on Android Market yet many bug fixes and enhancements had been made by the community. Many Android owners had contacted the team about releasing an updated version on the market to no avail. Thus, the TunesRemote+ project was born so the project could live on and advance in the Android Market while being maintained by a larger group of members. The code is hosted on Google Code where issues, bugs, and patches may be submitted.

Magnificent This app works perfectly. Does everything you expect it to do and more. Now time to download a DJ app and bump these tunes :D

Works great with iTunes The app auto detects your laptop with itunes running, you connect to it and your phone shows up in the list in on the left in itunes. Enter the code the app gives you and its ready to go. Works great. Who needs an AirPort express when you can just use a free remote? :)

Love it but... It's great - fast, no crashes, easy to use. Compilation albums are not handled well. If you could add Album Artist, that would work. Remote for iTunes seems to do it.
★★☆☆☆
Not with iTunes 11 Looks like it would work well but I can't get it to show a remote button in new itunes

I like this program as it works with MediaMonkey BUT it is SO DIFFICULT to get it to "pair" with MediaMonkey that I want to tear my hair out.
★★☆☆☆
Would be top if there weren't this constant hassle with the pairing The app itself would be great (except that it doesn't scale the album art very nicely) but the constant hassle with iTunes (all versions up to v12.3.2 so far) forgetting the remote and the lottery called pairing spoils all fun! When I haven't used the app for a day or so, I can be sure, that it won't connect to my old MacBook (used as media player) and iTunes only accepts its pairing requests when it has a good day (which means maybe once per week). I always get to the point where I have to copy the displayed pairing code into the dialog on the MacBook, which I do, but after that nothing happens. Neither the dialog on the mobile nor the one on the MacBook disappears and no pairing happens. This may or may not be this app's "fault" but in essence this means: it never works when it should!
★★☆☆☆
Cannot Connect to iTunes Used to be able to control iTunes prior to a device wipe. After device wipe, it would find iTunes but iTunes would never complete pin verification. Now it doesn't find iTunes after attempting setup again.
