Txu is a quality reliable electric company. Name brand knows best, yes txu has been known for yrs n yrs, they have a couple options if you need something specific for your households' usage. there are several agencies in TX that work with taxi to help aid in paying a bill once in a blue moon. It helped when I got in a spot. Thanks txu for being so reliable and being a household name since I was a teenager that's just in my lifetime.

I had originally given TXU 5 stars when I started up with them, but just changed it after being a TXU customer for about 5 months now. I have had multiple over charges on my bill that I just now noticed, also I was being charged a miscellaneous charge for TXU energy Green Up $9.95 a month, and some months the charge added to my bill was double that amount, so e when I called TXU to ask about the charge, the representative said that the TXU Energy Green Up payment that had been added to my bill

Unreliable in terms of (KwH) used/cost. It also no longer breaks down Solar Days vs. Free Nights, which it used to. I renewed my plan, with a 14-month contract, and went from paying 0.249/Kwh to 0.195/KwH, and my bill increased by 58%. They changed a key part of the calculation formula without disclosing it to consumers. It went from "-Energy Charge multiplied by the applicable nights kWh usage".........to........" Energy Charge + TDU Delivery Charges per kWh multiplied by applicable night usage.
