Welcome to the Vancouver Taxi mobile App serving the city of Vancouver B.C.

Books your taxi directly into our Dispatch System without having to call.

You will be able to see how far away your cab is and using "live tracking" and
see the unit number. On approach you can receive notifications.

Book a taxi using the iHail function which uses your mobile devices built in
GPS to determine your pick-up point .

Recent changes:
- Updated interface and imagery
- Added support for in app payments
- Added new feature 'Parent Tracker'
- Various bug fixes for known errors/issues

Mediocre app, good service. Dispatches are faster than yc or bt, drivers are friendly, and despite using the same backend as bt the app is more stable.

The app is clumsy as it constantly refreshes for no reason (as no new information is shown). The taxis on the main map seem to be made up and the estimated time of arrival sporadically changes from 4 mins to 12 then back to 2. I booked a taxi 20 mins before pick up, and it showed up, picked someone else up and left us. My app said picked up. I called and they said they verify before leaving. I ordered another and he didn't verify either. Would recommend eCAB

Not Uber or eCAB Vancouver needs Uber. It's simple, effective, inexpensive and works. This app is no replacement. It doesn't work very well. It doesn't accurately shoe your pickup location. The first cab I booked stopped a block away, waited for 30 seconds then left without me. For the second I manually entered the address which was better. But pickup isn't fast. In all it took me about 20 minutes to get a cab with this app. Needs serious work. And Vancouver cabs need serious competition... TRY THE eCAB APP INSTEAD.
