Description
Planks is one of the easiest exercises, to build a core strength and firm abs. It can be done anywhere, anytime and by anyone. Doing a plank is easier now, just speak to exercise using - Voice Plank - World’s 1st Speech Recognition Plank
Voice Plank also has other body strength exercises to strengthen core, shape gluts and firm the upper body, triangulating into overall strength.
Most plank apps assume your target time or they ask you to push buttons. Ever been in a position of taking up your plank position and then maneuvering with difficulty to push the START TIMER button. Push Buttons no more. Speak BEGIN - to start the Timer Speak STOP - to stop the Timer Speak HOME - to go back to the Self Challenge screen.
On the exercises screen, speak the challenge name - ELBOW PLANK or just say C1. Every plank exercise is a Challenge - "C". Speaking C7 or C8 will enable the exercise labelled against the name. C7 will enable Spiderman Plank and C8 will enable Forearm Plank Pushups.

There are still some bugs which are being worked out now to improve the voice recognition and improve data analytics. Our next version will correct some of the known issues and have improvements on top.
What's New in Version 1.032 Released 27 May 2019: Many bugs and errors fixed, and some changes made.
1. Voice Plank is locked only to Portrait mode. Earlier it supported landscape mode and when phone was in landscape the buttons would not be visible. This has been corrected. 2. Fully supports a blue tooth headset / speakers with mic Earlier only the blue tooth speaker was working but for microphone, it needed the phone microphone. With Bluetooth headset support now, you can do your work outs in a noisy environment, as your voice is more audible though blue tooth head set 3. Bugs fixed - 3 Minor Bug Fixes made.
Known Bugs & Future Versions upgrade planned: 1. Setup Challenge Mode - The Images and Video cannot be changed in this version as we are still working on it. Future versions of the app will allow you to choose different images / video.
Important Notes: 1. When Speaking to the app, speak after the beep. Do not speak into it when it is talking. The voice will not be recognized. This is because the listener is always on, even when the app is speaking the commands.
2. When using the app, use a relative quiet environment. This app also picks and process ambient noise and words. If a television program shouts stop, this will stop. Also, you commands may not be heard over the ambient noise. Position the phone near your plank position in a way that what you speak can be heard in the app / by the mobile you use.
3. When you have enabled Announce, the default is 15 seconds and it can go down to 5 seconds. When the voice announce is on, you will have to speak STOP between the time announcement.Speaking STOP when the time is announced, the app will not recognize your command.
4. Voice enabled systems need internet connection always on. If you switch off internet in between, the speech recognition will not work.
We are also working on other data analytics and the app is still at a nascent stage. Please do drop any valuable suggestions, we will try to include it in future versions.

Finally, a voice enabled plank. Happy that I dont struggle to press Begin to start count or press stop a few seconds before at the critical time. Voice commands Begin to start count, Stop to stop count. Home to go back to the Initial challenge page. There is a nifty Announce command to announce time intervals in 5 secs, 10 secs, 15 secs.

Voice enabled planks and exercises. This is one of the best and practical approach to planks. Speak into the app to begin the timer or stop the timer. Move between planks just by speaking the exercise name of the Challenge number like C6. The most annoying is to push the start button for timer start after taking the plank position and to push stop at the peak of the plank when I could spend the last 5-10 seconds to increase my time. Now, I can, thanks to the speech recognition voice plank.
