I set up 4 Cinnamon D1 cameras on the App. They only stayed connected for approx 2 hours then went offline. This kept happening, and I contacted the support department, and they responded, but I still had the offline issues. I have a dual-band high speed Wi-Fi router with both 2.4ghz and 5ghz. I connected a wireless Wi-Fi extender & only set it up on the 2.4ghz and then connected the App & Cameras to the 2.4ghz extender, and now the cameras stay online. The app is not the easiest to use, but works

Not easy to delete alerts fast. You have to delete one by one. Other major issue is there's no adjusting the motion alert recording time, and the clips are ultra short. Sometimes so short you don't even get to see what was recorded. Pathetic app and company. don't bother. Get a different non chines' camera.

I own several older Wansview cameras where you simply insert a micros card and view recordings in the app without a subscription. This newer model still uses your own SD card, but now Wansview wants a subscription to access features that used to be included. The hardware is excellent, but I cannot recommend it. A good camera and app have been spoiled by an overpriced subscription for basic features that should be available out of the box.

These cameras are no longer useful to monitor loved ones and pets. Wansview requires the purchase of their cloud storage to review footage. They allow 8-10 second clips, but that's not enough to determine issues with your loved one. I would have to go and remove the chip from the actual camera. But that's too late. Thank God there are cameras that don't hijack your camera after you purchase them. My sister's cameras were even worse. They all stopped working at the same time. Unable to reset. 👎
