Comments on Wileyfox Account for Android

★★★★★ This app helps with wileyfox zen (the news part on the homepage)

★★★★★ This app is just like any other manufacturer account app....not a spyware...user have a choice to create account or not. If they did then from settings-accounts this can be removed like any other account app. The app description I think summarize the point properly

★★☆☆☆ Data mining app being forced on owners of Wiley fox phones. After the backlash when they launched it, they now seem to have integrated it into the latest android system update instead, so it secretly installs in the background. Now you can't avoid it if you want to have the latest android security updates, and you can't see or uninstall it in your list of apps installed, it just tells you in Google Play that you have it, very underhand by the manufacturer.

★★☆☆☆ This app is weird - it has no permissions except telephone and runs in the background. From what I can gather it is incomplete and doesn't spy on us. However, it is a waste of 9.47mb. Disable this app and show wileyfox we don't want your crapware or uninstall it if you are rooted.
