It's one thing to require an app to run a device that should work standalone. But if you do that, at least make sure the app works properly. Currently, the app is not working because it requires an internet connection? Even when it does work, the best setting and "feature" is the one that allows you to run continuously and should work without the need for connection to an app. Save yourself a headache and get a percussive massage device that doesn't necessitate horrible app use.
