AirPatrol Smart AC Control allows you to control your AC or Heat Pump from anywhere. AirPatrol mobile application works with AirPatrol Lite, Nordic, WiFi controllers.
Accessibility: 1) AirPatrol Nordic GSM uses SMS sending and receiving. This enables to use the Nordic GSM device in remote locations or where there's no constant internet ( like a summer house or winter cabin). 2) AirPatrol WiFi communicates over local WiFi network and is ideal for everyday homes.
Save money: cool or heat your house only for the period when you're at home and turn it off when no one is around.
Never again arrive in a cold home. Adjust the room temperature to perfection prior to arrival or set up automatic time cues. You can change the conditions at any time you wish or set a scheduled temperature control for the future.
Know what is happening: with AirPatrol you can check the room temperature and humidity anywhere. AirPatrol Smart AC Control App has built-in alerts, where you will receive an an alarm if the conditions in the house have changed so that you can react from the distance and prevent any harm that might be caused by low or too high temperature or humidity. AirPatrol can also inform you about power failures and service intervals.
Easy to set up: installation takes just a few minutes and it works with all major heat pumps, air conditioners, and smartphones. In Setup of the controller unit you choose between GSM and WiFi communication, and you can always swop between GSM and WiFi controllers if you have them both.
For using the remote control and alert services we must ask for your permission to send and receive status messages from your AirPatrol controller to ensure your security with your heating device companion application. AirPatrol is compatible with all major manufacturers’ heat pumps and air conditioners, enabling you to effortlessly change the mode, room temperature and fan speed of a heat pump.

I wish it displayed information specific to my unit. It works but some of the functions like minimum heat are not available. Still happy to have remote control and monitoring.

A Great product which makes me comfortable and my AC smart :) but... I am trying to connect with Air Patrol service in IFTTT as it is advertised. But when I press connect in IFTTT, it tries to take me to "apsrvd.io:5559/oauth2/authorize?........" but it gives the following error : ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED. So I can not use my product with IFTTT. Can you please direct me to the solution? Thanks in advance. UPDATE: I guess it is fixed now, I tried it again, and it worked, thanks.

I've been using the Air Patrol Wi-Fi controller with my Galaxy S6 then the S8 to control my Fujitsu RLS2 mini/split for two years now, and it has been a joy to turn on the heat/AC in my garage wood shop from the comfort of my recliner while sipping my morning coffee. I highly recommend the Air Patrol unit. The only problem I've had was due to a software update but the folks at Air Patrol had me back in my recliner in one day.

This applies to the GSM Nordic edition: App doesn't have permission to send a reception sms so the only thing it really does is preparing the sms to be sent to the unit. When you press Send you're instantly thrown out to your regular sms app with a prepared sms of the codes to be sent to the unit. The information from the unit is then sent back to you with a regular sms-reply that doesn't connect with your app. Probably because of policy change from Google not allowing external apps sms rights.

I tried to use this in my new phone, and it crashes once I input my Wi-Fi code meanwhile in the old phone this works fine.
