The As Dusk Falls companion app makes making choices in game easy, just use your phone or tablet to vote with or against your friends. Reveal insights about yourself and those you play with as you discover the underlying values of your decisions.
How to use: First, you’ll need As Dusk Falls in order to play the game. See https://www.asduskfalls.com/ for ways to play. Once you have the game installed, download and install the Companion App. Make sure your mobile device is on the same Wi-Fi network that your game is running on and your game will recognize your phone as an input device. On your game screen, you’ll see an option to “Change Input Device”. Select the phone icon and you’ll be ready to go.
In Game Actions: In As Dusk Falls you will make choices that have a powerful impact on the characters’ lives. Use the Companion App to vote for in game decisions that may lead to unexpected consequences. You can also use it to complete quick time action events and override choices if you’re playing multiplayer.
Multiplayer: As Dusk Falls supports up to eight players at a time. With the As Dusk Falls Companion App, as long as one person is hosting the game, eight people can play together using their phones as input devices. HAHAHA! HELL YEAH! I am loving every dramatic brash decision so far. I am what you call a wild card, I don't see the npc's a nothing more than the code they've generated to be. That means I hold no emotion to their short term Java lives. And he stepped forward and spoke I am God and all shall feel my discriminated wrath!

Amazing app and amazing game too can't wait to finish it and redo with other choices. It was a different approach to video games I didn't know how it would turn out to be, but I was looking foward to it since xbox showcase, and I'm glad it turned out to be great.

Trash. Will not connect to my game. I'm on a Series X and I put the code in 5 times. It keeps saying it's an invalid code. Waste of time.

As always from companion apps, there's an overall delay to the responsiveness of the in game controls, gestures will sometimes get randomly missed despite swiping correctly, and sometimes it just doesn't even connect. Also, despite using the companion app, the console still darkens the screen, so you need to keep the controller on and use it regularly anyway to prevent it. Overall better to stick to the console/PC to avoid random misses, or perhaps cloud streaming if you trust your connection.

Useless app, unresponsive at critical times like swiping. Also, achievement popups in xbox need the controller to close.
