Had to disable my unused Verizon Messages+. Also on AT&T phone be sure that Mobile Transfer is set as the default SMS device for the transfer then remove it.

Old samsung note8 flew off hood of car, got run over found it with Google's find my droid, found it, it had 11% power left, plugged it in, would not recharge, however the plug into wall kept it running and working while I downloaded ATT Mobile Transfer, and it transferred like a charm in less than an hour. So pleased...thank you for saving my "Droid Stuff”¡¡

Very fast, and easy. My only complaint is that it didn't detect contacts on my old phone. Other than that it was great

Was trying to transfer my music. Only downloaded half then crashed. Then, when I went to retry, It wouldn't let me. So now I gotta carry my other phone with me just to listen to all the music I have. Will not change ratings till it gives me an option to download it all again.
★★☆☆☆
Transfer dropped several times, and it copied over multiple copies of the same files. Brand-new phone already 40% full because of the duplicates

Only transfers contacts and text messages. Phone automatically did that. Doesn't transfer apps ringtones or anything else.
