I've used the Barclays mobile banking app for years, and have never had any major issues with it. I have used another banking app from another bank, and the Barclays app lets you put in a new reference when you select a saved payee, which is quite an important feature to have that the other banking app is still missing.

Latest update is very poor - takes a LONG time to load up the login screen and sometimes doesn't do it at all. And - disastrously - the daily balance has been scrapped on all Savings Accounts making it impossible to manage these accounts! FIX THIS URGENTLY PLEASE.

Since the upgrade, we feel that it is much harder to navigate saving accounts, and also, the change for putting your personal pin in is not as clear as it was previously. Also now it has our names on the login page which to us, it is not as secure as having a nickname, also it now shows all account details which we feel is less safe from hackers and scams. As being faithful customers of barclays for approximately 20 years, we feel that this upgrade is not made any easier or safer for us

This moronic application does not let me make a payment using my debit card: my bank requires me to approve the transaction via its app and when I flick over to it, the Barclays app just exits (does not stay in the background) and asks me to do it all over again. I am 100% sure the devs will claim "security" for their idiotic application design.
