I love the animated home screen showing the flow of power into my home, my real time energy usage, grid status, and time the battery is available to fully power my home at current usage. But like others have said, nowhere does the app show the battery % charged or whether it's charging or not. That would be helpful information for the customer. I'm really impressed with the Base team members whom I've interacted with so far. They are all customer focused, so I am confident for a great future.

The utility and battery service through Base Power is great, and the app is useful in monitoring and tracking our home's power output and usage. The Base Power company earns their living in sending power from the batteries back to the grid, and this is quite useful if you have solar panels. Backup power (from batteries), if needed, during a utility outage is available.

Every time the system switches between grid power and battery power, it *causes* a long enough outage that my microwave loses its clock, and sometimes so do my ovens. For a system that is supposed to prevent outages, it effectively does the opposite, multiple times per day. Additionally, the app has been made more useless over time, and now won't even show the current percentage charge level of the batteries.
