Beanstalk is not just investing for your kids, it's for adults too! I'm no techy, but found the app was easily installed, and I've never had any problems with it. Also, Beanstalk is linked to Kid start (a partner cashback service) which means if you shop through them, you can get a percentage of money back. As I said, it's not limited to invest for your kids, adults can open an account too and there's no tax to pay on an ISA. My ISA has certainly grown, so I'm very happy being with Beanstalk. ❤

Easy enough to set up, but the ISAs have been in pending status for days with no action to take on my part and no updates on what's actually happening if anything at all. St this point it all looks as a waste of time with no outcome. Also while I linked my Kid Start account (parent company) it's not actually automatically linked, and I cannot easily transfer the saved up funds into the ISAs with one click.

Rating app, not product. Easy to register accounts & link family, but the app & UI are poor; jumps around when the keyboard opens/closes, text inc ref numbers can't be copied. Investments taken from bank accounts immediately but v slow to appear in Beanstalk accounts due to intermediary - third party financial service providers don't instill confidence in this app. Regular top-ups not flexible in the app, must be the date Beanstalk decide - use bank standing order instead. Update not fixed UI!

Opened an ISA for my daughter, now trying to set up one for myself, and it just keeps kicking me out as I try to enter bank details, giving up after multiple attempts. Not very reassuring to have a glitchy app when it's your kids' savings at stake.

There is only one way to communicate with customer service for this app via email. It's not been good. Not getting any replies for help. Not sure I want to invest money where communication is poor!
