calor BT

Latest update has cured the failure to communicate with the radiator valve and is now working as it was. All ok now.

After update all settings removed, de install & re-install app, add all valves again, after pairing still keeps asking the pairing code 6 figures, all the same...after reopening the app still asks to pair After 2 days, all devices agan disappear, de install & re-install again, no pairing possible anymore After recent update 21/12 still no pairing possible. Update after quick reaction, all work

When I realized that Bluetooth would only operate after the thermostat was installed on a valve it became a good app. Three settings per thermostat easily added, edited or changed. After the recent firmware update it is very difficult to update all my 3 stats. One is upstairs, directly above another. It picks up signals that are intended for the other. Using a samsung s20 fe it is not possible to delete paired device except by using an app.

Thanks for the recent update my app is all working again with my thermostats and great support when I contacted you by email

Since latest update of app lost all my devices and after firmware update app does not accept 6 digit pin. Even with the latest version of the app and following the customer advice to remove Bluetooth pairing and removing batteries the trv is still requires a 6 digit pin that the app does not support.

How can app / firmware developers get things so wrong, and why don't they test before rolling out "updates"? Did we really need to change the pin from 4 digits to 6? Is someone really going to hack into my smart rad stat using Bluetooth from a few feet away without me noticing them? So it all worked fine before the latest firmware update and before V1.3.3 of the app. Like others, I found that my rad stats were being forgotten by V1.3.3. I should have tried to roll back to V 1.2.3, but I stupidly updated the firmware on one of the rad stats - fortunately not them all. I then couldn't connect at all but fortunately had an old phone that still had V1.2.3. Then V1.3.6 came out a few days ago and that remembers my rad stats, and I can at last reconnect to them, and they are remembered. To get that reconnection I had to remove the batteries in the rad stat with the new firmware before replacing them and then uninstall and reinstall the app! However, there is a bug in the latest firmware / app because it causes my phone to continually ask to pair with the rad stat whenever I open the connection to it in the app. This only happens on the one rad stat that I have updated to the latest firmware - not the others. If it's of any help to the developers the CC-RT-BLE devices used to appear in the list of my paired devices but now only shows as available - even though I can connect to it through the app. It is annoying to have the phone continually asking me to pair whenever I open the app - and if I do try to pair through Bluetooth settings, it doesn't happen! FIRST REVIEW _ 2 YEARS OR SO AGO-It took a couple of attempts to get it to pair. Initially I made the mistake of pairing it Bluetooth settings, so I uninstalled the app and forgot the device in Bluetooth and tried again. This time it worked and the app made the Bluetooth connection - it took a little while though for the screen to move on to ask for the passcode. Also make sure that Bluetooth is switched on in the device. If you get to the BLE screen, and it says Off then it actually means it's On so don't press the button as you'll be switching it off!

Just bought 2 thermostats and tried to use Teach In function. Only able to install first thermostat. Will not install the second, also cannot add a different room. Tried it with a phone and a tablet, same result, only 1 thermostat working.
