Centriq was created by two homeowners who were got fed up with wasting time and money around their home. Our lives are filled with more and more stuff. The stuff is increasingly complex. And when the stuff doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do, we’re expected to spend hours chasing down the answer from a million different places.
They asked themselves, “Why can’t everything I need be in one place?”
So they built Centriq. Now, all you have to do is take a picture of a product label and from that photo, Centriq identifies the product and fetches the user manual, troubleshooting guides, parts & consumables, videos and anything else to help you get the most out of the things you own.
You can also easily keep track of receipts, warranties, paint colors, anything else related to your home and your stuff that you know you’ll need quick access to some day.

I, too, was one of the original users where I was able to enter as many items in my household at no charge and had to put most of the data on my tool that I entered. Then came the bait and switch. Now I have to pay after five entries and I can no longer add a replacement on appliances that were entered previously is wrong. I am a real estate agent and advertised centric to all of my clients. Update they now allow you to add more. I use this as a tool for insurance and warranty info. Great prod

I love this program. We have 2 residences with belongings that have become a problem for me to track. I collect in a couple of hobbies, so I like to know where everything is. Centric is a great tool to use for that purpose. I plan to expand our usage, so we can compile personal property lists for each house for insurance purposes. Centric helps with maintaining appliances and tools in each house Because the user guides and manuals are kept in Centric, looking up how to accomplish maintenance tasks is all in one place instead of having to search for the manuals.

Functionally, it is a pretty nice app, but very expensive, so I'm looking elsewhere. The free version only allows 5 appliances, and then the pricing becomes quite steep for something that you probably won't use regularly & typically only have, so you can manage user manuals for your household appliances. Also, you can't find the subscription information in the app, so you have to go to a website separately to find the basic info.

Useful App Crippled By Overpriced Subscription. Loved the ability to look up/track appliances, however I quickly hit the 5 item limit. While $5 a month is not super exorbitant, it is more than I can justify for an app that would be lightly used. Functionality/convenience has value, but just not quite worth what they are charging. Would be nice to see a subscription for half the cost, even if it only offered half the items (i.e. 50). Will stick with the less functional but free Homemade app.

Bait and switch. I liked the app a lot and loaded it up with more than 100 items. Now Centric only supports 5 items for free! If I want to either add a new item or update one it costs me $99 per year. Just simple homeowner, no a rental manager. True I still have access, but I can't update. For example, I recently replaced my dishwasher. Can't replace the old one with the new one.
