It works, Good and inexpensive to get a hot tub to have a very expensive feature that other brands would charge for. #1 -You need a CMS code. #2 need to understand your electricals schematics. On the circuit board (#7 dip switch) if it's not working switch the dip switch settings. On the series 1, it allows the Wi-Fi module to be simplified. The app is very basic, but it does work. Uses a server, but allows sales reps to monitor or view your hot tub information. Give us our freedom!!!

I bought the Balboa 59303 ultra gateway module for my Catalina spa. It was easy to install and this is the app that you use with it. I love that I can see the temperature of my spa from my phone change the temperature turn the lights on and off etc. And by the way if you need Balboa support it doesn't get much better than Balboa.

Not a well-thought-out app. Can't change the settings, keep reverting to tge factory settings. Seems like Balboa paid a family member with limited knowledge of how to create an effective app. For the price I paid to have this module added to my hot tub, it's not worth the money. Balboa, please do better for all the money you're getting from us.

I had added the app on our new tub to give me more peace of mind while traveling. I live in a cold environment, often well below 0. I expected that an app for control would minimally send push notifications of errors or low temperature deviations but this app does not provide any of this. I'll need to install a $10 Amazon temperature alarm to provide this functionality. CMS should include this ability!

Horrible new interface after the latest major update. I can't even change my water temp anymore, let alone any of the other settings on my spa.

Sales agent sold me on adding this Gateway Ultra. Well what's the point if it's all controlled by an app that doesn't work? I can't connect to my hot tub and when it does connect I can't update schedules or anything. I'm going to get a refund for this add-on from my spa manufacturer, and I'll be telling them exactly why.
