The Defender Camera's that I've had installed at my residence has been very good protection. We have actually caught several people that were stealing. The Defender support has always been great too. There are no fees for monitoring and the cameras are very clear, so I'm upgrading my cameras and adding 4 more cameras. Great place to buy camera's from. In my opinion, it's the best on the market. Quite good for what it does. Reviewing notifications is tedious. The list of notifications could be better. Please make the pic for the event in the list larger, so we can see what triggered it before opening that event. Rain and bugs trigger it frequently at level 2 or 3. A larger pic in the list would make it so much easier reviewing the events. Having to open each event to see what triggered it is tedious. Also, the small print for the event time is hard to see during playback.

New update is horrible. Always have error when looking at history, and now I can't go back less than a day ago? What's the point of having a security camera I can't even use. Don't bother getting not worth it

Worked good until the December 2024 update. Now it's just cluttered junk that is full of bugs and isn't near as user-friendly as it was. Went from one of the best I've used, to the absolute worst without a doubt. Too bad because the camera is decent. The app makes it almost trash bin worthy. Once I find a new setup, that's just where this one will go. Defender guard PTZ dual lens.
