See follow up below. Changed my 1 star to 5... Can't keep connection even though it shows strong Wi-Fi. Too busy to work on why with Xmas and new baby due. Will follow up after Xmas. Follow up. I finally gave up on using Wi-Fi. Since I have hubs all around the home I decided to hard-wire my 2 remaining of 4 cameras. (Gave up on having 4 so gave 2 my son). Now I wish I had them back lol. I recommend going hardwired in a large home

It seems that if you forget your password the program will not let you create a new one. I've been trying to get a new password for a month but no luck.

My cameras stopped creating local recordings after the latest firmware update. The update also did not provide the additional AI features advertised in the update notes. It seems that local recordings may have been disabled in the update to try and push more people onto a subscription plan. I used to think Defender was a good brand, but this latest update makes them seem dishonest and untrustworthy.

New update is horrible. Always have error when looking at history, and now I can't go back less than a day ago? What's the point of having a security camera I can't even use. Don't bother getting not worth it

My defender 2k cameras stopped working in December after the new update came out. Now it says software not compatible?
