With EasyCon Mobile you can easily and conveniently access your heat pump at any time. This is possible via an Ethernet network connection, which allows you to connect to your heat pump.
With the EasyCon Mobile App you can customize your heating system to your needs and make your heat pump smart.
You can perform the following operating and monitoring functions:
- Overview of the operating states and system messages of the heat pump - Graphical display of the temperature profiles of outdoor and indoor air - Display of all measured values - Convenient, intuitive change of the switching times of your heating programs - Change of setpoint temperatures in cooling mode - Holiday function of the system during a longer absence - Overview of the energy balance (depending on the heat pump type)
To use the EasyCon Mobile app, you need:
- WATERKOTTE heat pump of the EcoTouch product family or WATERKOTTE heat pump with optional network interface card - Existing Ethernet network (router with a free RJ45 connection) - EasyCon Mobile App
Hints:
Please note that the screen on the heat pump display must be darkened when establishing a connection and that no "coffee cup" is visible. An operation on the touch screen of the heat pump is unfortunately not possible in the connection phase.
With the help of a Virtual Private Network (VPN), you can securely access your WATERKOTTE heat pump via the Internet. In this way, all heat pump information and setting options are available to you on the move or at remote locations - just as if you were at home. For information, contact your router manufacturer.

I thought the whole point of the app was to control the heating when not in the house, but this is not possible via the app. You only can control it via the app when on the house network, like what is the point of changing the heating on/off times via the app when you are 10 meters away from the actual heat pump?? Would there be any way to fix this problem

All functionality broken. Older app was bad but at least got connected. The latest update is worse.

Catastrophic UI: back button often crashes the app; often the screen turns white and the app needs to be killed and restarted; as soon as there is more content than fits the screen you can not do anything as there is no scrolling down possibility; missing functionality from the easycon interface from the heater itself like Basic Vent integration, copying heating time settings to other days; no statistics. This app is being marketed very offensively on the website of the manufacturer as a benefit of the heating system.... Currently, I do not see any benefit of this app, I rather stand up and go to the heater and configure it there...
