Edit: it turns out that if you use MCE through PG&E, you need to list your provider as "MCE Energy" even if you get billed through PG&E. Otherwise, it will use the wrong export rates. AI performs much better after making this change. Original: won't let me change backup settings, forces me to charge battery during peak hour. The AI optimization does weird things, and performs very poorly. It imports power during peak hours. It discharges the battery even when we tell it not to.

The En phase Enlighten app works well most of the time, but sometimes shows odd behavior of the system, like exporting solar energy to the grid before our storage batteries are fully charged.

Awesome app for our solar panels. Provides information on our energy storage and the operation of all of our solar panels. Highly recommend.

The app had been very useful. Right now the app is not showing earlier months properly and earlier parts of this year. Overall it has been very useful to keep an eye on power usage.

Slow, unreliable, poorly designed. Additionally, enface continues to practice consumer and product owner antagonistic behavior. Closing API access to battery profiles and requiring app usage for a system I own is pathetic.

I am very frustrated. I am rarely able to access the live gateway. When I want to change a setting I have to wait for someone to approve the change I guess. My batteries are too low to operate if there was an outage. I asked them to change my settings to full backup, they did not. I was finally able to change my settings to full backup this morning. When I just looked at it several hours later it is still pending, and I will be out of luck if pg& e turns off the power because of high.
