Description
Connect to the hunt with the Alpha® LTE dog tracker, using cellular technology (subscription required). Use your smartphone to track your dog’s movements with the Alpha® app. Connect your Alpha LTE tracking system to a compatible Garmin VHF dog tracking system (sold separately) to leverage either LTE or VHF tracking signals. Use the Alpha app to navigate and mark waypoints with integrated mapping. Garmin Alpha needs SMS permission to allow you to receive and send SMS text messages from your Garmin devices. We also need call log permission to display incoming calls on your devices.

Would be really nice to use the training functions within the app at least tone also more of a 3d map like on the garmin xl

App has satellited imagery again. Now it can actually be useful in tracking our dogs. When the satellite imagery was not available, it was useless. I am glad Garmin got that solved. There is room for improvement, but so far, except for the satellite imagery glitch, the app has been stable.

It is constantly closing while trying to download maps. Got it to connect to my alpha, but it won't work with it. Major problems. Do better. We pay so much for your products, we expect stuff to work properly edit: still junk. Map is a fraction better. It is still not even close to what the explore app was. How can there be such a difference?

Seems like the app just keeps getting worse. Now doesn't work with device in landscape orientation. For the price of the garmin products, the support system should be much better. Garmin is more concerned with selling new model products than making the current products work.

Dogs show up in my alpha but won't show up in app. Device shows that it is always trying to sync and never does. Great app when it works.

I'm seeing others are having problems with android syncing properly, and you above being to update the LTE Collar. That's what I can't seem to do. The app isn't pairing with the collar, so how am I supposed to update the collar?
