Used the Max and Hyperion app more, all session, including a very long one, were good. Therefore, I updated my 4 stars to 5. The Grill Eye Max and Hyperion app performed flawless, while with the same short sessions with the Pro+ model I kept getting frozen data in the older app every time. This new model and Hyperion app for sure are an improvement! Recommended. Also, the Grill eye support team deserves big kudos! Thanks.

App works good, love the presets and charts that visualize you cook. Had no problem setting it up. Probes are correct. Good bang for the buck! Some features I would like to see in the future: 1. Setting two steps for one probe. E.g. 70 degrees Celsius for wrap 92 degrees for finishing the Boston butt 2. Presets can only be defined by using a slider. I don't find this very handy to set it precisely. Please allow using keypad 3. Adding notes/pictures to your sessions and presets. Keep up!

One stars, very disappointing. Have emailed and no response. The app won't keep screen on, no matter how many times I have reinstalled, and set the app to keep screen on, and saved. Guess I have to bin it and buy an another brand.

Does not work at ALL! New version sucks. I still have older app installed on another device. It Works OK, with flaws, Grill eye style, but this version does not connect to my grill eye unit at all. SUCKS

I loved the Grill Eye. Sadly, they've gone out of business. Trying to use the product after 2-20-25 requires the serial number, only accessible through the app, to be inputted to pay for yearly access. The issue is that you can not access the serial number in the app until you pay for access to the cloud with the serial number that you can not read. Piss poor job, folks. Grill Eye goes down in flames at the end. From poor battery life to paradox of inputting a serial number you can't read.
