Habits - Habit Tracker

Build habits without ads, accounts or paywalls. Habits keeps your routines on your phone and gives you practical tools to make progress without pressure.

TRACK YOUR WAY
• Check off simple habits
• Count repetitions, enter decimal amounts, or use the built-in timer
• Set at-least or at-most goals: drink enough water, or keep coffee and smoking under a limit
• Choose daily, weekdays, selected days, times per week/month, or every few days/weeks
• Log past days and add notes whenever you need to catch up

FLEXIBLE AND CALM
• Organize habits into morning, afternoon, evening and custom groups
• Pause a habit for a holiday or sick day without breaking your streak
• Skip a day without counting it as missed
• Use Gentle mode to hide streak pressure and red missed-day states
• Archive habits while keeping their history

REMINDERS THAT YOU CAN CHECK
• Multiple reminders for each habit
• Exact alarms when Android allows them, with a reliable fallback when it does not
• Complete, add one, skip, or snooze directly from the notification
• Reminder check screen for notifications, alarm permission and battery restrictions
• Re-registers reminders after reboot, update, time changes and time-zone changes

TIMERS
• Start, pause, resume and stop a timed habit
• Timer state survives the app being closed or the phone restarting
• One active timer at a time, with a persistent notification
• No foreground service required

BADGES AND STATS
• Earn badges for first steps, total check-ins, perfect days and habit streaks
• Current and best streaks, completion rates, weekly/monthly/yearly totals
• Calendar history and heatmaps
• Pick any date range on the Stats page: this week, this month, this year, all time, or your own dates

WIDGETS
• Today widget with all scheduled habits
• Single-habit widget with a large check button and recent days
• Optional double-tap confirmation to prevent accidental check-ins

BACKUP AND PRIVACY
• Automatic backup to Download/Habits
• Export and import a versioned backup file; existing data is merged and newer records win
• Export records as CSV
• Android system backup support
• Optional 4–6 digit app lock with recovery code and fingerprint/face unlock
• Screenshot blocking and hidden recent-app previews
• No account, no internet access, no ads, no data collection

Habits is free, offline and private. The app lock prevents others from opening the app on your phone; it does not encrypt your local database. Export a backup before clearing app data or uninstalling.

Recent changes:
The Stats page now lets you pick any date range (this week, month, year, all time, or your own start and end dates) for completion rate, check-ins and perfect days. Streaks across new year, leap days and daylight-saving changes are now covered by tests.
