Really impressed with Telus. Customer service has improved a lot. I can speak to a human, I can request a call back and the turn around time for issue resolution - 10/10.

I don't know if the app is working properly. I see two options at startup, 1 Enable internet backup which doesn't work for me because I don't have a Telus compatible cell service and 2 Discover smart home+ explore now which seems to just go to a website the constantly nags about its cookie policy and never remembers. At this point the back button, no matter where you are is not you friend.

Let's start by addressing the biggest issue with this app's existence: We already have to log into and use the "telus smart home" app to use the telus security system and cameras. But then also need the "telus smart home plus" app just for the doorbell camera. The next major issue is unable to log into the app. I have seen users having issues since July 2025 not being able to log in, It's now mid-Oct 2025, and we are still experiencing the same issues.
