I installed the LG Smart Laundry and connected to my new top load LG washer and matching dryer. App installed fine and connected to both appliances after touching my phone to the "Tag On" area of the control panel on the appliance when prompted. Hopefully I don't have any trouble but if so, I'm hoping the smart diagnostics will be helpful. For now I can look at the last 10 cycles I've run on each device, start custom cycles by selecting them on the phone and touching to the appliance and other interesting functions. I just started a washer "tub clean" from the app because it said it was time. Pretty nice.

Works but please add steam fresh cycle Got it to work with Galaxy S6. Better without case. LG please add a steam only to washer cycles. I recently had to have my 6 yr old LG washer replaced with a new washer. My old LG washer had the steam fresh cycle on the washing machine that I used constantly! It's saved me so much on ironing. I prefer the washer cycle vs. the dryer steam cycle as it worked much better. I miss that feature and hope it can be added for tag on feature.

Why can't I select dishwasher? I have nothing but LG products for my kitchen and laundry. First time I need a diagnostic and the app doesn't even work. WTF
