Initial login attempts with linked google account resulted in the useful error "something went wrong". Resetting account password to something different effectively using the Google email and a local account password fixed that issue. Once in you can only use 2.4G like we're in the 90s, and you can't manually set a hidden SSID, like the 90s again. Sharing the app send the message "Share the app with..." rather than a link to the app. So 90s. I guess it's retro...
