Looking at these reviews and the fact I had issues myself with pairing of the hub and the thermostat to this app, I contacted Thermosphere for clarification of the instructions, and pleased to say all is working well. Basically, connect the hub to your router via Ethernet cable, and then press and hold the (+) connect button on the hub for 3 secs. Device connection light flashes. On the App, enter your Wi-Fi password, and the hub should then show up on screen. (My hub's Device connection light remains off, but the connection is locked in still) Now go to the Thermostat, turn it OFF, and press and hold the far left Mode\Settings button for 5 secs to display the ID code on the stat display. Then press the "Up" arrow button on the stat. The ID code will begin to flash. Whilst it flashes, go to the hub and double press the (+) connect button again (just press it twice), and this should detect the stat and display it on the App screen. If successful, you are now ready control the stat on the app. I struggled with this initially, as I was confusing the number of presses on the (+) connect button with the hub and the stat procedure, so nothing was being detected. Also, rebooting my Android phone first helped before starting the setup. I also have a SKY dual-band router, which is using the 2.4ghz band for connection. The setup will only work on 2.4ghz not 5ghz. Apparently only one device should be paired to the hub\thermostat. Hope this helps anyone with the connection problems. Good luck!!
★★☆☆☆
Same issues as everyone else on here. It will not connect to 3 different
Wi-Fi choices, doesn't appear to work with Android 8, and there are simple
spelling mistakes. Please try to resolve at least the connection issues.
P.s. I've tried contacting customer services with no success.
★★☆☆☆
2 spelling errors when attempting to connect - then the thermostat appears
to connect to the Wi-Fi but doesn't appear in my devices so completely
useless.
